| Abstract: | ジェイムズ・ジョイス著『フィネガンズ・ウェイク』の第4部の604ページ27行目から628ページの16 行目までを訳出した。逐語的に訳した所もあるが、内容をくみとりながらその主意を表した所もあり、「概要」といった題名にした。この訳出した箇所では、聖ケヴィンの言動、ミュータとジューヴァの対話、バークリーと聖パトリックの論争、ALPの手紙の内容、ALPの意識の流れが主に描かれてある。
I translated into Japanese James Joyce's Finnegans Wake IV (p.604 l.27 ～ p.628 l.16). In some parts I translated it word for word, but in other parts I just gave the gist of the sentences or the paragraphs. So in naming the title I used the word 'epitome', not 'translation'. The epitome mainly treats St. Kevin's action, conversation between Muta and Juva, dispute between Berkeley and St. Patrick, ALP's letter and ALP's stream of consciousness. |
